Sydney Sweeney was recently spotted without her fiancé Jonathan Davin’s engagement ring, further fueling rumors of an affair with co-star Glen Powell.
However, things are not what they seem.
Although she was missing the sparkler in her hand in recent images obtained by the Daily Mail, that doesn’t mean her wedding is off.
In reality, the “Euphoria” actress is rarely photographed with her engagement ring on.
The last time Sweeney was photographed with the massive rock was in October 2022, eight months after news of their engagement broke.
Since her February 2022 engagement, the actress had worn her ring off and on before taking it off for good.
However, fans of the 25-year-old HBO star are concerned that she and Davino, 38, have called it quits after rumors of an affair with Powell surfaced in April 2023 while filming their new movie, “Anyone But You”.
After several photos surfaced of the two co-stars looking very comfortable, Powell’s now ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed Sweeney on Instagram.

The DeuxMoi gossip account speculated that Paris’ romance with Powell, 34, had hit a rough patch since filming began with Sweeney for the Will Gluck-directed rom-com.
The model, who began dating the “Devotion” actor in 2020, even traveled to the Land Down Under to be with her then-boyfriend at the end of March. However, she returned to the United States less than two weeks later.
Paris, 30, initially supported Sweeney in casting the film, writing three party emojis under the “White Lotus” actress’s Instagram post from January.
Then, he apparently changed his mind after sharing cryptic posts on social media, which read: “Know your worth and move on.” The Jijou founder also unfollowed her ex.
However, a source told Page Six that Powell and Paris had actually broken up weeks before cheating rumors took the internet by storm.
The source also pointed out that the breakup was amicable.
Sweeney, on the other hand, has been engaged to Davino since February 2022. Despite that, the restaurateur was photographed on Tuesday leaving his shared home with the actress with their bags and their dog.
Neither Sweney nor Powell have addressed the rumors.
