Former President Donald Trump called Kaitlin Collins an “unpleasant person” during a tense exchange of classified documents during CNN’s town hall in New Hampshire.
During a combative back-and-forth over Trump’s withholding of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago property, Trump and Collins spoke for several moments.
“Do you mind?” Trump said.
“I would like you to answer the question. That’s why I asked,” Ms. Collins said.
“You’re a nasty person, I’ll tell you,” Trump responded, drawing applause from the Republican-leaning audience.
“It’s very simple. I was negotiating and talking with Nara (National Archives and Records Administration).”
