‘RHONJ’ Recap: Teresa Warns Luis ‘Cameras Are On’ During Phone Call About Melissa, Joe


Teresa Giudice didn’t want the cameras to know that Luis Ruelas wasn’t going to invite Joe and Melissa Gorga to a pre-wedding group dinner.

During Wednesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Ruelas called his future wife, who was in the car with their daughters Milania and Audriana, to ask who she wanted to invite to a pre-rehearsal dinner. at Avra, a “beautiful” restaurant in New York City.

Guests included co-stars Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider and Margaret Josephs, with whom Giudice previously had a difficult relationship, as well as their loved ones.

“You know the cameras are on, we’re filming, right?” she asked her husband-to-be before he simply replied, “Oh, okay.”

The OG of “RHONJ” quickly took the speakerphone off her fiancée’s phone and held it up to her ear as her youngest daughters remained silent.

“You have to invite everyone, you can’t just do some and not the others,” Giudice told Ruelas as she looked at 17-year-old Milania in the passenger seat.

The couple quickly ended the conversation before Giudice turned to her daughters to assure them that their uncle and aunt would be “guests” for the evening’s pre-rehearsal dinner.

“I don’t like to tell the kids everything that’s going on with my brother and Melissa unless I have to tell them,” Giudice admitted in a confessional.

“There is no reason to tell them anything at this time. There’s a week to the wedding, I’m so close to my happily ever after.”

Earlier in the episode, Melissa, 44, and Joe, 48, also acknowledged their strained relationship and shared a similar sentiment about keeping the peace until the big day.

“I am doing everything in my power to keep it in a peaceful place just to survive until the wedding, so that Joe can go to the wedding, so that I can go to the wedding, so that my children can be at the wedding. , because of the normality of a family member getting married,” Melissa said in a confessional.

Unfortunately, the peace didn’t last long as the Gorgas ended up abandoning Giudice and Ruelas’ extravagant nuptials on August 6th.

Sources told Page Six that Melissa found out about a rumor about her cheating on Joe a few nights before Giudice’s big day, and that ultimately led them to not attend.
