A TikTok content creator identified only as Mark, who posts to Right Guys Review on the platform, has revealed something about salt mills that apparently surprises people.
“My birthday today,” he shared with his 1.4 million followers.
“I can’t believe I’m noticing this today,” he said in the video, which has 2.4 million views and 71,200 likes as of Monday morning.
Mark takes a salt mill from his kitchen cabinet and explains, “You know these things about the salt shaker? Well, did you know that you can change it from fine to ground? I never knew. Who knew that?
It shows that pushing down on the circle in the middle of the grinder changes the setting.
“Apparently, you just open this up and it changes it from big to small,” he said.
He goes on to demonstrate, grinding salt on his counter using fine and ground settings.
“How am I finding out about this today?” Mark exclaimed.
People were shocked to discover this hidden feature.
“No, because I’ve been wondering why my salt was so big!” one person wrote.
