Moment in which a protester throws cake at the Volkswagen chair during the General Shareholders’ Meeting – video

Protesters threw what appeared to be a cake at Volkswagen Chairman Hans Dieter Pötsch at a shareholders meeting on Wednesday. Pötsch can be seen ducking to avoid being hit.

Some 10 activists also disrupted a speech by Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume, who was protesting against the automaker’s plant in northwestern China’s Xinjiang region by waving banners reading: “End Uyghur forced labor at VW.”
