Meghan Markle Hires Kim Kardashian’s Ex-Bodyguard Amid Coronation

Meghan Markle is expanding her security team with the help of one of Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguards.

Markle was spotted with the mystery caretaker, who allegedly worked for the Kardashian in 2016, as they walked in Los Angeles over the weekend. Meanwhile, her husband, Prince Harry, was across the pond at King Charles III’s coronation.

Another of the reality star’s former bodyguards, Steve Stanulis, told The Sun that Markle may have hired the coveted security for “influence”.

“These are guys who come from a small group of elite bodyguards, with police or military backgrounds,” he told the outlet. “Usually, if a guy is good enough to work for high-profile stars, it’s not unusual for him to be sought after.”

“Not just for protection, but also for influence. It looks good,” she added.

However, it seems the mysterious guardian wasn’t the only thing protecting Markle, 41, on her walk.

The former actress, who skipped coronation weekend to “protect her peace”, was seen wearing a new necklace as she embarked on the trial.

The Maya Brenner Clarity Retreat necklace, which was designed in collaboration with her friend and former “Suits” co-star Abigail Spencer, was literally designed “to protect your peace” and “to help you find your way through any challenge.”

Armed with her new necklace and bodyguards, it looks like Markle is ready to become a “power player” in Hollywood.

The new hire comes shortly after the couple fired former Michael Jackson bodyguard Alberto Alvarez over alleged drunk driving convictions.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have employed a number of different personal bodyguards since they lost their publicly funded UK police protection in 2020 amid their departure from the royal family.
