Man breaks into funeral home to see friend’s FaceTime footage of autopsied bodies

A Louisiana man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a funeral home and transmitted images of dead bodies to a friend.

Boris Richard Jr, 21, has been charged with trespassing into a place of business after he allegedly broke into Smith Funeral Home in the city of Monroe on April 7. dailymail.com informed.

Richard is accused of displaying graphic images of the dead bodies while on a FaceTime call with a friend. Arrest records obtained by the Mail show that Mr. Richard allegedly entered the funeral home sometime between 11 am and 12 pm, when the business was closed.

Someone who has not been identified by authorities told law enforcement that Mr. Richard allegedly called a friend while inside the embalming room, where bodies are kept after they are autopsied.

“The victim said that Richard videotaped several dead bodies on his cell phone via FaceTime and was showing the dead bodies to an acquaintance while the business was closed to the public,” an excerpt from the arrest affidavit read.

“Richard was not an official worker at the funeral home and was advised not to enter the embalming room without consent.”

Mr. Richard was then arrested by the Monroe Police Department on April 10 and briefly held at the Ouachita Correctional Center.

He was released on a $1,500 bond.

Police have said that Mr Richard is not cooperating with the investigation.

He is scheduled to appear in court again on May 18.
