Kim Kardashian has said she will “never back down” from the struggles she has faced with her ex-husband Kanye West, even though they had to go through it in public view.
On Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the 42-year-old opened up about the demise of her ill-fated union with the rapper while cleaning out his warehouse.
“I’m really at peace with that,” said the mother of four. “There are so many amazing things that came out of my marriage and divorce. I have saved each and every Yeezy. For me, I think it’s me holding on to the Kanye that I know.”
And even though her life has gotten more difficult after West’s anti-Semitic rants and controversial outbursts, Kardashian said she would “never take back the hard things that happened or the hard times.”
“I love my life, but it’s time to do something different and I just need a minute,” she shared, adding, “It’s like the memories, it’s sad.”
Looking through the items of clothing she’s accumulated over the years, the reality star called the storage unit her “time capsule of the best of times” in their relationship.
“The reality is that life is really different, and when you know you’re never going to go back there, that’s what sucks and what’s hard,” he explained. “But my children will have the best memories and this will be the best tribute for them.”
The doting mother also said she would never want to take away “the best father in the world” from her children.
After revealing that the 24-time Grammy winner had previously asked her to “burn her stuff,” Kardashian said she’s saving it for her kids to see once they’re older.
