Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, who split in August 2022, reunited at the 2023 Met Gala on Monday.
Exactly one year ago, the two made their first red carpet appearance as a couple, where they shared a sweet kiss.
Despite their breakup, Kardashian, 42, and Davidson, 29, appear to be on good terms as the two were photographed chatting with singer Usher.
The comedian, who kept his look casual in a Fendi T-shirt, leather pants and a trench coat, beamed at his ex, who wore a Schiaparelli corseted gown with pearls.
Last year, the couple turned heads at the Met Gala, with the famed “Kardashians” star wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gown to the party as Davidson helped her up the stairs in her form-fitting gown.
The couple dated for nine months after connecting on the set of “Saturday Night Live” when the Skims founder hosted an episode in October 2021.
They split in August 2022 and a source told us at the time that Kardashian and Davidson “decided to just be friends.”
“They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but they found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship,” the source added.
However, their age difference also played a role in the split with a source telling us that Davidson “is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever she is at one point.”
Kardashian, however, “has four kids and it’s not that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”
Davidson is currently dating her “Bodies Bodies Bodies” co-star Chase Sui Wonders, who was conspicuously absent from the big fashion night.
Meanwhile, Kardashian has kept quiet about her love life after her breakup with the “Meet Cute” actor.
Though he had his Kardashian-themed tattoos removed earlier this year, we hear Davidson won’t mention his famous ex when he hosts “SNL” this month with a source telling us, “He’s being a gentleman.”
