He’s aging backwards, literally.
Chris Mirabile, the founder and CEO of a consumer longevity biotech company called NOVOS, said he is 39 years old and has a biological age of around 23, and is now sharing his advice with the world.
While biological age tests can be controversial, one expert says they’re an astute indication of how much “damage” has been done inside your body.
The test aims to measure the rate at which your body is aging.
A brain tumor survivor when she was younger, Mirabile has some aging hacks that won’t cost a lot of money and are easy to implement into your own routine.
While appearing on John Barrows’ “Make It Happen” podcast in August 2022, Mirabile offered some of his most powerful advice to the audience, and it’s simpler than you might expect.
“150 minutes a week of moderate physical activity is enough to prolong life and health by a significant margin,” he said on the podcast.
He explained that if you go for a brisk walk for 20 minutes per day every day, it will almost get you to the 150-minute mark. Mirabile also recommended doing bodyweight exercises twice a week, especially focusing on the legs.
Exercising regularly can support brain health, strengthen muscles and bones, and even help reduce your risk of disease, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Mirabile used squatting as a good example of bodyweight exercises, suggesting that you build up your resistance starting at 20 reps. She said you can even do this while watching TV.
According to The Daily Mail, Mirabile himself works out six times a week, breaking it up into three cardio sessions and three weight-lifting sessions.
“By intense I don’t mean anything crazy,” he told The Daily Mail. “So like a six to eight mile run, basically anything that can fit into my schedule, 45 minutes to an hour, and I have to make sure not try too hard.”

Another piece of advice Mirabile revealed was the importance of intermittent fasting and making sure you have a restricted window of time of at least 12 hours to eat.
“One of the biggest things to consider is your eating window, the time that you are eating,” Mirabile said on the podcast.
He referenced a researcher at the Salk Institute in California, Dr. Satchidananda Panda, and explained that it is better to eat in a shorter period of time.
“The smaller the eating window you can do, the better it is for your overall health,” Mirabile said on the podcast.
“Studies have found, for example, that two people can eat the exact same foods, but if you eat in a shorter period of time, you may have a significantly better health outcome in terms of cardiovascular risk, and so on.”
Mirabile said she eats healthy 90% of the time, especially during work days, according to The Daily Mail.
Some of the typical foods in his diet include broccoli, Brussels sprouts and berries, but he doesn’t hesitate to treat himself once in a while, indulging in two “cheat meals” once a week, reported the half.

“So, I might have pizza on Friday night and then dessert on Saturday, but I try not to have the pizza and dessert at the same time because it’s too much at once,” he told DailyMail.com. .
Getting a good night’s sleep is also crucial, he revealed, recommending that you get eight hours of rest a night, according to The Daily Mail.
A good night’s sleep is important to anyone’s physical and emotional well-being, and The Cleveland Clinic recommends that adults get seven to eight hours of sleep a night.

Sleep also helps with the function of your nervous system, according to The Clinic.
The Post reached out to Mirabile for comment.
However, Mirabile is not the only person to claim a younger biological age.
Dr. Mark Hyman is 63 years old, but says he has a biological age of 43.
In his list of tips, he recommended says smoothies, meditation and cold plunges, among others.
