This cat is proof that anything is kickable.
A woman adopted one of the “world’s most obese cats” and is now showing off his weight loss journey after putting him on a strict diet.
Lea Dallas adopted her pet feline, Bob, from a rescue when he weighed 36 pounds, more than triple the weight of the average cat.
According to WebMD Pets, house cats should weigh around 10 pounds, but the average weight can vary based on breed, gender, and body shape.
Many people on social media joked that Bob looked like Garfield, the big, lazy orange cartoon cat, but Dallas loved him regardless.
“He can take your breath away, especially when he sits on you,” she joked.
To help Bob improve the activity of his bodily legs, Dallas put his pet on a strict low-calorie diet and developed an exercise plan for him.
Bob cut back on sweets and portioned his meals, which helped him lose 14 pounds.
Dallas shares Bob’s progress on TikTok, where he has 35,500 followers.
In a video, Dallas shared before and after photos of Bob when he was 32 pounds compared to him when he was 22 pounds.
“Slow and steady wins the race,” captioned the TikTok, which has 95,500 views and 10,200 likes.
Another video with 51,600 views shows off Bob’s incredible transformation.
“My name is Bob. I used to be a fat kid. My human put me on a diet. Now I’m a hot guy,” Dallas joked in the video from the fat cat’s point of view.
Followers became obsessed with the not-so-little Bobby and took to the comments to share their adoration.
“No, I’ll call him garfield,” one person joked.
“Fat cats are sexy too,” said another.
“I would give anything for Bob,” someone declared.
“He was sexy and juicy at the same time,” one user commented.
