Fendi’s crystal dog ‘collar’ is the same price as human jewelry

Are diamonds a dog’s best friend?

Prissy pooches too fancy for a boring old dog collar can now update their sweet collar with a chic choker from Fendi to dress up for pup playdates in the park.

Fendi’s silver metal dog collar, which costs almost $1,000, is embellished with 13 white crystals and a brand logo pendant.

Made in Italy, the pet choker design is 100% brass and 100% crystal and has a human-shaped clasp closure.

At $950, it’s the same price as the gold metal O’Lock choker for women.

The Italian fashion house also has a full luxury line for pet owners who want Fido to look fashionable at Fendi.

Pet carriers featuring the iconic FF motif logo retail for $2,850 with both brown and black options.

And picking up poop can be less of a hassle with Fendi’s poop bag holders, which come in at a whopping $395.

Of course, matching leashes cost extra, they’re also $395, and there are even pet coats to keep warm on walks for $490.

In all, a complete set of Fendi pet carriers could cost more than $4,700.

There are also options for lazy canines who prefer to lounge around at home, with Fendi-patterned nylon dog beds for $1,350 or $1,750 depending on size.

Fendi’s crystal collar is just a high-end offering from fashion brands to dress up pets in couture.

Prada introduced a $795 dog raincoat in March along with a $1,020 dog harness and a $3,300 leather “pet bag.”

And last year, Gucci launched its Pet Collection with a $7,500 made-to-order pet bed for the fleaworm lounging in a French-style chaise longue, a $460 poop bag holder, a $500 leash, and a “set of Travel Mugs” with a Hard Case emblazoned with the “GG” logo and priced at $4,250.

Other items included $220 ornate AirTag holders, $895 bowl covers and $4,050 pet carriers featuring the iconic House of Gucci monogram.
