Apple’s rumored Beats Studio Buds+ have already made their way to at least one Best Buy location, according to a photo. shared by tech enthusiast and former leaker Ben Geskin. The box confirms that the headphones will have a transparent design option like the Nothing Ear headphones (2) and a longer 36-hour battery life with the included USB-C charging case.

Beats hasn’t officially announced the Studio Buds+ yet, but the headphones briefly appeared on Amazon last month with a release date of May 18 and a price tag of $169.95. That listing revealed that the earphones will also feature 3 times larger microphones and up to 1.6 times more active noise cancellation than the original Studio Buds that launched in 2021.

The Beats Studio Buds+ are a sportier alternative to the AirPods Pro and have a more compact design with no “stems” that drop below the ears. The headphones will also be available in black and ivory color options, according to Amazon’s removed listing.

The Studio Buds+ will feature IPX4-rated water resistance and will be available with XS, S, M, and L eartip size options to fit a wider range of ears, the Amazon listing noted. The earbuds were first discovered in the iOS 16.4 code last month, and have also turned up in FCC filings and other regulatory databases around the world.

Apple acquired Beats in 2014 for $3 billion. Rumors suggest that the new Beats Studio Pro headphones will also be released soon.
