Alexander Ludwig and his wife, Lauren, welcome rainbow baby after miscarriage


Alexander Ludwig and Lauren Ludwig’s rainbow baby has arrived.

Revealing that the couple’s baby boy was born 4 weeks early, Lauren shared a sweet snap of the couple cuddling their newborn on Instagram.

“Leni James Ludwig decided to come with her own schedule 4 weeks early,” she wrote alongside the snap. “Born 4/27/23 at 7:24 am 🫶🏼🤎”.

Lauren revealed that her boyfriend was “in another state filming and came back just in time.”

“A labor history for the books,” he added.

Alexander had waited to reveal the news of his wife’s pregnancy until “things looked promising” in February.

“It’s been a long road,” the “Hunger Games” star, 30, captioned an Instagram mirror selfie with the jewelry designer, 31, at the time.

“We suffered 3 losses before this one, but each one of those losses taught us about ourselves and each other,” she continued, revealing her son’s due date in May.

Alexander noted that his dog, Yam, was “thrilled,” calling himself and Lauren “so grateful.”

A week later, the country singer subtly revealed the gender of her upcoming arrival while sharing photos of her baby moon from Mexico.

Alexander not only posted a photo of a pink balloon reading “GIRL” on his hotel bed, he called the baby-to-be “babina” in his caption.

News of the couple’s pregnancy came nearly a year after Lauren candidly revealed her third miscarriage to remind other families that they are “not alone” in their fertility woes.

“I have gone back and forth on whether or not to post something about this but I decided we all need to start talking more about the truth,” she wrote alongside a hospital photo from May 2022. “I wanted to share because I don’t think it’s embarrassing. what to talk about

“I want to help others realize how common miscarriages are,” the THEIR creator continued. “This will always be part of our history.”

Alexander wrote in a post of his own that he was “astonished” by his wife’s honesty.

“Your resilience through this is just one of the countless reasons I love you,” he gushed. “All the bumps that life throws our way, we’ve got it.”

Alexander and Lauren went public with their relationship in 2020 and eloped in Utah later that year.
